Kids Growing Strong is all about helping families, caregivers, teachers and members of the community to use the wonders found in a garden to spark joy, healthy habits and a love of learning that will last their child’s lifetime.
We think that gardens have it all!
…and that almost everything that a kid would need to know to grow to be well-educated, healthy,
happy and strong can be found in the lessons gardens have to offer.
As a non-profit, 501(C)(3) educational organization, Kids Growing Strong has been serving families in California for over fifteen years. In that time, we have worked with experts,families and kids to develop garden-based educational materials and activities that make learning fun… and that make learning “stick.”
We have an army of people all over the state trained to help you and your family or community organization. But if you’d rather “go it alone,” we also have resources to help you on this website.

- A variety of fruits and vegetables is very important for all of us.
